Closing the physical risk evidence loop
Connect field observations to accountable recommendations before adding automation.
Consider a fictional woodworking station with visible dust accumulation. A useful inspection record would identify where and when the observation was made, the equipment context, and what the image cannot establish.
A reviewer then tests the risk hypothesis against additional evidence and applicable professional practice. A single image cannot establish exposure severity or authorize an underwriting decision.
Sensors and computer vision may help collect and organize information. A proposed workflow still needs validation, operating constraints, and a named human decision-maker before it can support real operations.
The public lab demonstrates this reasoning sequence using a synthetic scenario. It does not represent a live flight, a validated detection model, or an actual insured location.
