Azure Security Briefing
A static Markdown security-briefing scaffold; export ingestion and live integrations remain future work.
01 / The engineering question
What is this project for?
Define an executive security-brief format and a starting point for future export ingestion.
- Inputs
- The script accepts --input and --out arguments, but the inspected implementation does not read or parse the input directory.
- Outputs
- A Markdown report scaffold. No normalization, scoring, live query or export-driven findings are implemented in the inspected script.
02 / Documented workflow
How the work is structured
- 01
Parse command-line arguments.
- 02
Create the selected output directory.
- 03
Write a timestamp and a fixed no-data briefing template.
03 / Source material
Evidence you can inspect.
Source inspection found a Python script that writes a fixed no-data report. Its --input option is accepted but never read. The README describes a broader export-first ambition than the current code implements.
Read the primary evidence ↗- Report scaffold writeroutputs/sample_data/prompts/docs/briefing_agent.py
- Sample report (existence checked)outputs/sample_data/prompts/docs/SAMPLE_BRIEFING.md
Source links are pinned to reviewed commit 6b4818bf31d0. Later repository changes do not silently change this evidence.
04 / Verification boundary
What this evidence does not prove.
No export parsing, risk scoring, live Azure integrations or generated findings are demonstrated. The script is nested under outputs/sample_data/prompts/docs/, not at the README quickstart path. It has not been executed in this website review.
Source inspection is not an execution test, a security certification, a performance benchmark, or proof of a production deployment.
05 / Next verifiable step
Build the next piece of proof.
Implement and test synthetic export ingestion before describing this as a working briefing generator.
